Our story began in the Spring of 2018 aboard a cruise, a special tradition Samantha shared with her grandfather. Little did we know it would mark the start of an exciting adventure. What could have been just a week of fun together turned into something much more. Mickey took a chance and asked to visit Samantha for her birthday, traveling from Long Island, NY, to Baltimore, MD, where she was finishing school. From that visit on, we were as inseparable as a long-distance couple could be.

That first year, we spent countless weekends traveling back and forth, getting to know each other better and meeting each other’s families. Before long, Samantha made the move to Long Island so we could finally be together. At first, we lived in Mickey’s childhood home, but during COVID, we got our first apartment together in Centerport, NY. Those years were filled with love, laughter, and plenty of softball—Mickey’s favorite pastime.

After the pandemic, we decided to slow things down and moved to rural Pennsylvania, where the quieter pace of life was a perfect fit. Then, on the eve of our sixth anniversary, during our annual camping trip with close friends, Mickey proposed, making our love story official. Now, we’re so excited to begin this new chapter surrounded by the people who mean the most to us.
